Ambedkar Nagar : Notices have been issued to two candidates who did not submit the first details of Lok Sabha election expenses on time. The first scrutiny of the candidates' expenditure took place in the Collectorate on Saturday in the presence of an observer. The expenditure of the candidates is to be examined in a total of three phases before the voting in the elections. It started on 11 May.
Expenditure Observer Raja Bhattacharjee got the details brought by the candidates and their representatives duly checked in the Collectorate. Observed them myself. Said that whatever instructions and standards of the Election Commission should be strictly followed.
In the first inspection, two candidates could not present the account books. On this a notice was issued against him. The observer directed for proper videography of the election programmes.
