Shravan Kshetra Dham Will Woo The Devotees Of Ayodhya

Ambedkar Nagar : The famous religious place Shravan Dham will also be seen attracting the tourists of Ayodhya in the coming days. The district administration is trying to improve this Dham situated on the banks of the confluence of the Madha Bisui river in such a way that at least ten percent of the tourists coming to Ayodhya visit here. Many types of works are going on here in this context. Now, with the government including it in the plan to specifically develop five religious places, the hopes of development and beautification here have got a new wing.

Shravan Dham is established in Katehari assembly constituency in the name of Shravan Kumar, a symbol of mother-father devotion. Although it has got the status of a tourist destination, but due to the poor condition of the entire area, it has not got the importance it should get. IAS Avinash Singh, who took charge as DM here about a year ago, focused on the development of lakes and industries as well as the rejuvenation of religious places.

After this, along with the construction of a new ghat on the banks of the Tamsa river which originates after the confluence of Tamsa and Bisui rivers, work was done for lighting and traffic. Now, on the demand of MLC Hariom Pandey, the state government has approved special work at five religious places in the district. With this, the beautification and development of the hearing area included in it is expected to reach a big milestone soon.

The district administration has started the construction of a grand gate at the entry point of the temple area from Annawan Pahitipur main road, while the entrance gate of the main temple is also being constructed. The administration is preparing to install a 25 feet high statue of Lord Ram here. A grand Ram Vatika will be established around the idol. Along with this, another new ghat will be built on the banks of the river.

In fact, along with the fair being held here twice a year, Parikrama is also organized in which a large number of devotees come. Religious events are held on other occasions also.

DM Avinash Singh said that about five crore devotees and tourists are expected to come to Ayodhya every year. The effort is to bring ten percent of these to Shravan Kshetra Dham. This will also strengthen the economic system of the district. To attract tourists, a well-equipped rest house is being constructed here by the Tourism Corporation.

In the coming days, Adarsh Sarovar will be established so that beautification can be increased. A park and swing will also be constructed in the campus. Regular Aarti has started here at the river ghat since last few days. It will be given a more grand look.
