Ambedkar Nagar : If the vehicle fitness has ended and the vehicle owner is in another district, then he can go to the ARTO office of the same district to get his vehicle fitted. The Transport Department has implemented the Anywhere Fitness system. Under this system, vehicle fitness can now be done in any district. Whereas, earlier the vehicle had to be taken to the ARTO office of one's own district to get it tested for fitness.
More than five lakh vehicles are registered in the district. Of these, there are about 1.5 lakh commercial vehicles, among which 1200 are also school vehicles. Their fitness test is conducted. According to the department, if the vehicle owner has reached a non-district. So for fitness test the vehicle owner will have to deposit the fee in two parts. One part of the fee will have to be deposited in the Divisional Transport Office of the said district, where the vehicle is present, while the other part will be for vehicle testing.
The concerned district authorities will file the test report while examining the fitness of such vehicle on the new format No. 38A instead of Form No. 38. There will be three copies of this report. A copy will be uploaded into the department's system. Whereas the second copy will have to be submitted to the original office by the vehicle owner within 30 days.
The third copy will remain with the vehicle owner. Along with this, after depositing the second part of the fee online, the receipt will have to be deposited in the office. In the new system, instead of the vehicle, its owner will have to go to the original office once to submit the test report.
In this regard, ARTO Satyendra Singh Yadav told Rainbow News that the new system has been made effective. After the fitness test, the second copy will have to be submitted to the transport office of the district where the vehicle will be. For this the vehicle owner will have to come himself.
