Ambedkar Nagar. A teenager crossing the road near Rudauli Adai village of Malipur police station area was crushed by a tractor trolley. The teenager died in the incident that took place on Wednesday evening. Police have started investigation by sending the body for post-mortem.
It is said that Mohammad Rehan (15), son of village resident Mohammad Ismail, was crossing the road near the village at around 4 pm on Wednesday. Meanwhile, a high speed tractor trolley passing by crushed him. By the time the nearby villagers reached the spot, the driver managed to escape with the vehicle. In the hope of breathing, the teenager was taken to a private hospital in Malipur where doctors declared him brought dead.
The police later sent the body for postmortem. According to Malipur Police, no complaint has been received yet. The driver of the vehicle has been identified. Necessary action will be taken.
