Ambedkar Nagar : In view of the Lok Sabha elections, preparations are in the final stages in the Collectorate for the nominations to be held from April 29. Pandals were set up from the Collectorate Gate on Akbarpur Tanda Marg to the main building. Along with this, barriers have also been installed at two places.
Nomination for Ambedkar Nagar Lok Sabha seat will be held in the Collectorate from April 29. The administration has almost completed preparations for the nominations to be held till May 6. In view of the scorching heat, pandals have been set up from the Collectorate Gate to the main building on Tanda Marg.
Along with this, barriers have been installed near a petrol pump and SP residence ahead of Patelnagar Tiraha on Akbarpur Tanda road. Supporters of candidates coming for nomination from Tanda side will be stopped near the SP residence and supporters of candidates coming from Old Tehsil side will be stopped at the barrier near the petrol pump. There will be strict security arrangements at these barriers. Apart from this, security forces will also be deployed at every nook and corner in the Collectorate premises.
