Ambedkar Nagar : There was a dispute regarding playing of DJ in the wedding procession held in Kataria Yakubpur of Kotwali area Akbarpur. On this, a person beat his relative (brother-in-law) to death. After this, he ran away leaving him in the field in an unconscious state. In critical condition, the young man was first admitted to the district hospital and then to the Government Medical College, Sadarpur. Police have started investigation in the matter.
The procession had come to Kataria Yakubpur of Kotwali area Akbarpur late Saturday evening from Dhaurahara of Tanda Kotwali area. It is said that meanwhile there was a dispute regarding making a DJ. Meanwhile, Mannu Vishwakarma, resident of Dhaurahara, beat up Arvind (25), resident of Bhulepur of Hanswar police station area.
It is said that Mannu beat his brother-in-law Arvind and took him to the fields. There he hit his head and face several times with a brick. Due to this Arvind became unconscious and fell in the field. He ran away leaving the young man dying.
After some time, the people who came in the marriage procession found Arvind in an unconscious state in the field. He was immediately taken to the district hospital where considering his serious condition, he was referred to the medical college. Later the aggrieved party filed a complaint to register a case in the police station. Police have started investigation in the matter. It is said that both of them were drunk at the time of the dispute.
