Ambedkar Nagar : The old man died tragically after being hit by a speeding bike, after which a large number of villagers reached the police station, although the police have registered a case in the matter.
Ram Achal Yadav, 60, a resident of Bhiti village of Alapur, was going on a bicycle on Saturday morning to collect milk from home. He had just reached the Alabhur intersection at around 7 o'clock when a speeding bike rider hit him hard due to which he was seriously injured. His relatives and other people took him to PHC Ramnagar, where due to his serious condition, he was being taken to Azamgarh and he died on the way. After which a large number of villagers reached the police station.
Former District Panchayat member Pradyumna Yadav, Gram Pradhan Sangh General Secretary Lalbind Goswami also reached the police station and demanded action in the matter. On which the police registered a case of culpable homicide against Khatmipur resident Arvind, who was named on the complaint of Vijay Bhan, son of deceased Ram Achal. A case was registered under the section of negligence.
