Name Plate Scratched After Scuffle With Police Personnel




Ambedkar Nagar :  Some powerful people snatched the mobile while scuffling with the police personnel of Dial 112, who reached Kannupur village on the information of land dispute. The name plates of two policemen were also scratched. Within a short time, many vehicles of Dial 112 reached the village. The two accused youths have been taken into custody by the police.



On Thursday afternoon, Dial 112 team received information that there is a land dispute between two parties in Kannupur village. On this, Diwan Bantesh Bahadur Saroj and constable Mintu Singh Yadav reached there along with the driver. The constable started making videos on the spot. It is alleged that enraged by this, people from one party snatched the mobile phone from the constable.




It is alleged that some men and women present there surrounded the Diwan and the constable while creating ruckus and abusing and also tore off their name plates. There was a scuffle with both the police personnel. On the information of another policeman, another team of Dial 112 and the team of Kotwali Jalalpur reached the spot. By then the uproar had calmed down after some local people convinced them.


Police personnel took into custody two accused youths in the case. After this they took him to Jalalpur Kotwali. Late in the evening, CO Devendra Kumar Maurya said that no complaint has been received from the police personnel. As soon as it is received, a case will be registered under relevant sections.



There is a long standing land dispute between Omprakash and Jagannath parties in Kannupur village. There was also a fight on May 5th. In this, a case was also registered against Jagannath on the complaint of Omprakash. Meanwhile, on Thursday, Jagannath complained to the police that construction was being done arbitrarily by Omprakash and this should be stopped. On this information the police team had gone to the village.
