Ambedkar Nagar: An ambulance hit a bike late on Thursday night on an overbridge in the district. Three youths riding a bike were injured in the accident, who were taken by the police to the hospital for treatment, where doctors declared all three dead. Police have sent the bodies for postmortem.
Sanjay Rajbhar (40), resident of Qayamuddin of Akbarpur police station area, his brother Rajendra Rajbhar (36) and Satyam Rajbhar (22), resident of Mirzapur of Akbarpur police station area, along with his son Chandrabhan, had gone to the wedding procession in Bhaupur of Ahirauli police station area riding on the same bike. All three people were returning at night riding on the same bike.
When he had reached Akbarpur overbridge, he was hit by a speeding ambulance. Police reached the spot after receiving information and admitted the injured to the district hospital for treatment, where all three died during treatment.
