Ambedkar Nagar : A review meeting regarding determination of examination centers for police recruitment was organized on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate in the Collectorate Auditorium. Recently, the district administration had sent a list of 72 examination centers to the government, out of which only 10 examination centers have been selected. The final list of examination centers has not been released yet. The government intends to conduct police recruitment examination only within a radius of 10 kilometers of the city.
DM Avinash Kumar Singh said that this time the examination centers have been selected in two categories. Category-A includes Government Secondary Schools, Government Degree Colleges, Central Universities, Polytechnics, Government Engineering Colleges and Government Medical Colleges.
Reputed and well-funded educational institutions are included in Category-B. Which are not in the blacklist and are not suspicious or controversial. Apart from this, the examination center should be in an urban area. The examination center should also be within a radius of 10 km from the headquarters. DM said that if necessary, the examination will be conducted on several days and in several shifts.
SP Dr. Kaustubh said that there will be strong police arrangements at every nook and corner of the centre. Special police force will be deployed with the vehicles carrying the examination papers.
During this, ADM Sadanand Gupta, Additional Superintendent of Police Vishal Pandey, Dr. Vijay Gupta, Sumitra Devi and principals and center presidents of other schools were present.
