Tube well building and complex island made of rain water
Ambedkar Nagar : The tube well building under construction under Jal Jeevan Mission in Kondra Kataria Sammanpur village of Akbarpur development block of the district has currently become an island. This has happened due to water logging from all sides during rainy season.
It has been told that this tube well building to be built on the land of the pond has almost been constructed. Due to the short-sightedness and ignorance of the officials and other departmental officials, the tube well supplying water to the villagers has itself become a victim of inundation and almost drowned. Due to the shortsightedness of the officials, lakhs of rupees of the mission have also been lost.
The newly constructed tube well building on the pond land, along with shedding tears over its poor condition, is also telling the story of the open game of corruption. This tube well building will sink in the rain, such information was given by some aware people to the department and the district administration. But no one paid any attention there.
It is alleged that the government's ambitious plan has become a victim of corruption due to the short-sightedness, arbitrariness of the officials and the nexus of the contractors. Public money, which is called government money, is being divided among themselves by some selected corrupt people. It seems that the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme, which has become a victim of corruption, will take centuries to succeed.
The water tank of the said village has become a topic of much discussion at present. The contractor is acting arbitrarily with the consent of higher officials. The aggregates used in construction are contrary to the standards. Local people strongly opposed this and some journalists also published news. But the result remained the same. In the matter of looting the mission money through corruption, it is being said that the water corporation department and the contractor are in trouble.
The people of the district consider the present District Magistrate to be an experienced, hard-working and honest officer, but he did not even bother to look at the plight of this tap well building. In a telephone conversation, Amit Pandey, popularly known as Tank Engineer among the local villagers, has termed the entire news as false. The Chief Executive, Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer of Jal Nigam did not consider it appropriate to talk about this matter.
