Ambedkar Nagar : There is great news for the weavers and other travelers of the weaver city Tanda. A total of 26 buses will operate from Tanda Bus Station from the first week of August. Currently six of these buses are operating. Now soon 20 buses from Akbarpur bus station will be shifted to Tanda. These buses will operate for Ayodhya, Basti, Gorakhpur and Prayagraj.
There is going to be a huge increase in transportation services for the people of Tanda Tehsil area, which has an important place in the textile industry. Earlier the train used to operate from Tanda to Akbarpur but later it was stopped. In such a situation, the people of Tanda have the support of Transport Corporation buses and taxis. But due to less number of buses, passengers have to face difficulties. Now the number of buses is being increased from Tanda Bus Station.
According to the ARM office, six buses operate from Tanda Bus Station to Akbarpur Depot, out of which three buses operate for Basti and three for Prayagraj. Three buses stop at Prayagraj depot and three at Basti depot at night. After this, it takes passengers to the destination in the morning.
Now 26 buses will start operating from Tanda bus station soon. Actually, the fleet of Akbarpur bus depot includes a total of 70 buses. Due to lack of space, there is a problem in parking the buses here. Due to limited space in the campus, most of the buses have to be parked outside the campus. Due to this, the problem of traffic jam often arises in the bus station area.
To get rid of this problem, ARM office has decided to shift 20 buses from here to Tanda bus station. The respective buses will start operating from Tanda Bus Station from the first week of August.
According to the ARM office, the 20 buses that will be shifted from Akbarpur depot to Tanda will be operated for major districts. 10 buses will go from Rajesultanpur, Ramnagar, Hanswar to Lucknow via Tanda. Five buses will operate from Tanda to Ayodhya via Maya while five other buses will operate from Tanda to Gorakhpur and Basti districts. The route chart of all these buses is being prepared.
ARM CV Ram said that due to lack of space, 20 buses will be shifted from Akbarpur bus station to Tanda bus station. Their operation will start from the first week of August. Already six buses of Akbarpur depot are operating from Tanda. In such a situation, now a total of 26 buses will operate.
